Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To receive a full refund or free rescheduling, you must notify us at least 7 days prior to your scheduled class or activity.

Within 7 days of your class: No refunds will be issued. However, you may reschedule within the first five (5) days of that week prior to your class date for a 20% rescheduling fee (based on the class price).

Within 48 hours of your class: No cancellations, reschedules, or refunds will be permitted for any reason.

Processing Fee: Any approved refund will be subject to a 4% processing fee.

This policy allows us to protect our employees and artists who are specifically booked for each event, as well as other customers who may have wanted to reserve an available seat. As a small, service-based business, significant planning and preparation go into each class.

We appreciate your understanding and kindness toward our staff, who are simply following company policy. Thank you for your support.

While we take every precaution to achieve the best possible firing results, no guarantees (express or implied) are made regarding the quality or serviceability of fired work.

By using the studio, you acknowledge and agree that you will not hold the studio, its volunteers, or anyone associated with the studio responsible for any damage or defects to your work at any stage of the process.

Artwork Pickup Policy

Finished pieces typically require 2–3 weeks to complete the glazing and kiln firing process.

You will receive an email notification when your piece is ready for pickup.

If you have not received an email, please contact us to confirm availability before coming in.

All pieces must be picked up within 3 months of the class date.

Items left beyond 3 months will be donated to make space in the studio.

Assumption of Risk

Working with clay and studio equipment is generally safe but does involve certain risks, including potential injury or illness.

By using the studio, you acknowledge that:

You have been informed of these risks.

You have signed the Salmon Pottery Studio waiver.

You accept responsibility for your participation.
